Reinstädt

Reinstädt is a municipality in the southern part of the Thuringian Saale- wood - country circuit and part of the joint management Southern Saale valley.

Community structure

To Reinstädt includes the villages of Geunitz and doubt Bach and the district, salvors consisting of a few houses. There is the tourist restaurant "Zur Falkenburg ," a popular hiking destination.

Geography

Reinstädt located in Reinstädter reason, extending from west to Wittersroda Kahla. Due to the location of Reinstädter stream flows. Down in the Saale valley runs along the Thuringian porcelain street. North of Reinstädt is the Schoenberg, south of the Hopfberg.

History

For Reinstädt was established in 1083 to February 16, 1084 as a documentary was first mentioned in documents Mainzer I 365.

Very little is known about the once belonging to the bower castle. They already existed in the 10th century as an aristocratic residence. 1083 were named after the town noblemen.
