Renato Longo

Renato Longo ( born August 9, 1937 in Vittorio Veneto) is a former Italian cyclist, who specialized in cross-country races ( Cyclocross ) and dominated competitions in this discipline in the 1960s.

In 1958, Renato Longo Italian masters of amateur stayer and Vice - champion in cyclo-cross races. In the following years he focused successfully on the cross-country sport. Between 1959 and 1972, Longo was five times World Champion and twice runner-up world champion as well as twelve times Italian champion in this discipline. He also won eight times the cyclocross race in Solbiate Olona and four times the Critérium Martini in Vincennes. In all, he won 230 victories.
