Renato Mocellini

Renato Mocellini ( born April 2, 1929 in Varna, † 9 November 1985) was a former Italian bobsledder from South Tyrol.

Career

Raised in Sterzing Renato Mocellini should have learned the bobsleigh in winter on the Jaufenpassstraße.

At the Olympic Winter Games 1956 in Cortina d' Ampezzo won Renato Mocellini in the team with Eugenio Monti, Ulrico Girardi and Renzo Alverà that Silbermedaglie in time of 5:12,10; The winner was the Swiss Bob.

When Bob World Cup 1958 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, he won with Sergio Zardini, Alberto Righini and Massimo Bogana the bronze medal in the four-man. When Bob World Cup 1963 in Igls, he was with Romano Bonagura, Sergio Zardini and Ferruccio Dalla Torre world champion in four-man bobsleigh.
