René Tretschok

René Tretschok ( born December 23, 1968 in Wolfen ) is a former German football player and coach.

Career

Tretschok came 1986 on the first team of FC Halle chemistry, where in his first season he was promoted together with Dariusz Wosz became an audience favorite and in the DDR - Oberliga. In the 1990/91 season Tretschok qualified with the Halle FC for the second Bundesliga and the UEFA Cup in 1991/92.

In 1992 he came to Borussia Dortmund, where he played until 1997. Merely in the 1993/94 season he was loaned to Tennis Borussia Berlin. With Borussia Dortmund he experienced his most successful period. By winning the Champions League he left in 1997 to 1 FC Cologne, he left after relegation in 1998. Hertha he was immediately on stem force and was a long time performer in Berlin. From 2003 he played in the second team of the club.

In January 2005 he moved to SV Babelsberg 03, where he finished in the summer of 2007, his career and was active as an assistant coach to October 2007. In the 2008 /09 season René Tretschok was as athletic director at premier league team FC Grün-Weiß Wolfen active. In October 2008 he was in league play the Green-Whites against the SSV Markranstadt his comeback as a player.

Since July 1, 2009 Tretschok is the coach of the U-19 selection of Hertha BSC.

On 14 February 2012 Tretschok took over on an interim basis the professional team of Hertha BSC. Two days ago Michael Skibbe was fired. After the commitment of Otto Rehhagel as new head coach, he was the assistant coach.

Then Tretschok worked again as coach of Hertha's U-19 team. End of November 2012 he resigned for personal reasons from his duties.
