The Chinese People's University (中国 人民 大学, pinyin Zhōngguó Rénmín Daxue German also: University of Renmin University of Chinese People ) is a university in Beijing.

History

The People's University goes back to the Public School Shanbei (陕北 公 学), which was founded in 1937 during the Sino -Japanese War. From the school's North China University, Yan'an, the orientation and faculty two years later formed the basis for the founding of the Chinese People's University in 1947.
