Retowo, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Retowo ( German name: Rottow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the Gmina Tychowo ( Tychowo ) in a circle Białogard ( Belgard ).

Retowo located 17 kilometers east of the county town of the province road Białogard 167 Koszalin ( Koszalin ) - Ogartowo ( Jagertow ). Tychowo station is on the railway line Szczecinek - Kolobrzeg.

By 1945 Rottow was a Gutsbezirk the community New Buckow that belonged until 1932 to the district of Koszalin, then to the end of the war to the district Belgard ( Persante ). Also Rottow church was oriented to New Buckow, which was in the parish church of Tychowo in Belgard county of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union.

Today Retowo part of Gmina Tychowo in powiat Białogardzki and Parish Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.
