Reutlingen main railway station is the railway station in Reutlingen. There are also the breakpoints Reutlingen West and the city's parts Betzingen and Sondelfingen. They are all located on the Neckar -Alb -Bahn. The Reutlingen South Station (formerly Station Eningen ) is no longer in operation.

History

After Reutlinger citizens had actively participated in the revolution of 1848/ 49, delayed the Württemberg State Government aware of the construction of the railway line from Plochingen to Reutlingen. The station was finally opened on 20 September 1859. It was originally 575 meters long and up to 86 meters wide. He had an administrative and a customs house, a goods shed, a locomotive depot and repair workshop with water station and a covered loading platform.

In Reutlingen Hauptbahnhof branched to 1994 from the railway Reutlingen - Schelkingen whose part is now closed from Reutlingen to Kleinengstingen and degraded. By 1985, this branched off the Gönninger railway, linking the Reutlingen with Gönningen.
