Ri Jun-il

Ri Jun- il (born 24 August 1987) is a North Korean football player.

Career

Ri has performed internationally as a player of the sports group Sobaeksu in appearance, a club of the Korean People's Army.

He was the only player of the North Korean national team in each of the 16 qualifying matches for the 2010 World Cup for use. Here he formed with Cha Jong- Hyok, Pak Nam- chol and Ri Kwang- chon, the defensive line, which remained in 14 games the 2nd and 3rd qualifying round 10 times without conceding a goal, and thus formed the basis for success.

For the North Korean U-23 selection in 2007, he played several times in the Olympic qualification, but failed with the team in the final qualifying phase. Ri 2008 belonged to the Final squad in the East Asia Championship 2008, 2010, he missed the team surprisingly the final round.
