Ricardo Bofill

Ricardo Bofill, in Catalan Ricard Bofill Leví, ( born December 5, 1939 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish architect of postmodernism. Bofill began studying architecture in Barcelona before he moved to the Ecole d'Architecture in Geneva. In 1963 he founded his own agency in Barcelona under the name Taller de Arquitectura ( Architecture Workshop '), which is housed in a former cement factory in Sant Just Desvern. Him the honor of membership in the covenant in 1997 awarded German Architects BDA.
