Rise of the Guardians
The keepers of the light ( original title Rise of the Guardians ) is a 2012 published 3D fantasy animated film by DreamWorks Animation based on William Joyce's book series "The Guardians of Childhood". Peter Ramsey made his directorial debut.
Action
North of Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny Bunny, Jack Frost aka Jack Frost, the Tooth Fairy Tooth and the sand man named Sandy are the keepers of the light, their job is to protect the hopes, dreams, memories and especially the faith of the children. In return for the guardians, there are the bad pitch ( as a black man known) and his army of nightmares. Pitch tries everything to the children to frighten, so they believe in him and he can gain enough power to destroy the Guardians final.
Pitch Black is back! The master of nightmares, also known as a black man, has enough of its existence in the shadows and under beds. Now he wants to be feared by the children. But for him, the keepers of the light in the way. Since this notice the return of pitch, ask the man in the moon for help. There he sees that he too slowly has doubts about the existence of the guardian. Then the boy Jack can not see Jack gives him a sign that the guardians exist. When Jack lets it snow in the room, the boy now believes in Jack, as he has heard so many saying with Jack Frost. Pitch Black is not giving up so fast and lets his nightmare start pouring sand on it. The children overcome the fear and then from nightmare again sand Sand of Dreams, which lets the children sleep on the world again quiet. The guardians get back their strength. Only by the resurrection from the sand man from the dream sand they can defeat Pitch final. Pitch is now afraid of the guardians and is then pulled from his own nightmares in his hiding place. Jack now comes with the guardians and is committed to protect the faith of the children in the guardians.
