Robeisy Ramírez

Robeisy Eloy Ramirez Carrazana (* 20 December 1993 in Cienfuegos ) is a Cuban boxer in the flyweight. Ramírez won the Pan American Games in 2011 and the Olympic champion of the 2012 Olympics in London.

Career

Youth and Junior

In the field of youth ( U17) was Ramírez bronze medalist of the World Championships 2009 in Yerevan and in the same year Pan-American champion in Quito, each flyweight ( 52kg - ).

As a junior ( U19) in 2010, he was also Pan-American champion and also won the World Championships in Baku with a final win over Shiva Thapa, India ( 14:1 ). That same year, Ramírez took part in the inaugural Youth Olympic Games in Singapore bearing, and could even customize them with a final win over Shiva Thapa ( 5-2 ) win.

Even 17 -year-old Ramírez 2010 first participated in the Cuban Championships and won the bronze medal at first.
