Robert J. Papp, Jr.

Admiral (O -10) Robert J. Papp Jr. ( born October 18, 1953 in Norwich, Connecticut) is the 24th and current Commandant of the United States Coast Guard. It is the successor of Admiral Thad W. Allen, the deputy he was before.

Papp graduated 1975, the United States Coast Guard Academy. He received the degree of Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College and the Master of Science in Management from Salve Regina University.
