Róbert Jež

Róbert Jež (born 10 July 1981 in Nitra, Slovakia) is a Slovak football player. The midfielder currently plays for Zagłębie Lubin in the Polish Ekstraklasa.

Club career

Róbert Jež was born in 1981 in Nitra, where he also began his active football career at FC Nitra. When FCN he went through the entire youth department before he celebrated his debut in the season 1999 /00 the Corgoň league. At the end of the season he got the club into the Second Division, Jež but was able to continue his career in the highest Czech league, he signed a contract signed with Viktoria Plzen. After five years in Pilsen with a short detour to the first FK Pribram, where he was loaned in the 2004/05 season, he came to a multiple Slovakian titleholders of recent years, the MŠK Žilina. When MSK Jež could win his first title in his career, the league title in 2007 and 2010. Žilina with the midfielder played in his final year there in the Champions League against Olympique Marseille, Spartak Moscow and Chelsea.

After five years of very successful Jež moved in the winter transfer window 2010/11 for half a year to Gornik Zabrze. In summer 2011, he signed a contract with the Ekstraklasa rivals Polonia Warsaw. There he was to replace Adrian Mierzejewski, this was changed to Turkey Trabzonspor. Jež could not yet fill the gap of its predecessor with satisfaction in the first games of the season 2011/12. In summer 2012, he moved to league rivals Zagłębie Lubin.
