Robert Kromm

Robert Kromm ( born March 9, 1984 in Schwerin ) is a German national volleyball player.

Career

Robert Kromm began his career in his hometown at the Schwerin SC. Later he played in the youth team of VC Olympia Berlin. With the junior national team he reached the third place in the Junior European Championships in Poland and the eighth place at the Junior World Championships in Iran in 2002. In 2003 he came to SCC Berlin, with whom he was German champion. In 2005 he went to Italy to Cimone Modena. In 2006 he moved within the Italian League to Semprevolley Padua. With the senior team, he finished ninth at the World Championships in Japan. In the 2007 /08 season he played for Italian club Perugia his third volley. Robert Kromm part of the German team, which in Russia was fifth at the 2007 European Championships. With the national team he reached at the Olympic Games in Beijing in August 2008 to ninth place. He then moved back to Semprevolley Padua and 2009 Marmi Lanza Verona. 2010 joined Robert Kromm to Russia Ural Ufa, but returned in 2011 back to Verona. Since 2012 he plays in Berlin at the German Masters in Berlin Recycling Volleys, with whom he was German champion in 2013.
