Robert Kurnicki

Robert Kurnicki ( born March 27, 1965 in Zabrze ) is a former German track and field athlete of Polish descent who was successful in the 110- meter hurdles and the sprint.

He began 1977 in Poland with athletics. After several national titles in his youth, he was in 1986 with the 4 x 100 - meter relay team Gornik Zabrze of Polish champion. In 1987, he took over 60 meters hurdles in part at the European Indoor Championships, but did not have the lead out. In 1988 he became Polish indoor champion. In 1990, Kurnicki over to Germany and adopted the German nationality.

In Germany, he joined the TV Wattenscheid. In the 200 -meter run Kurnicki 1992 and 1993 German Masters. He also won the league title with the Wattenscheider 4 x 100 - meter relay in 1992, 1993, 1995 and 1996. However, the German colors, he represented the first time in 1993.
