Robin Leamy (bishop)

Robin Walsh Leamy SM ( born July 27, 1934 in Wellington, New Zealand) is Auxiliary Bishop of Auckland.

Life

Robin Walsh Leamy joined the Congregation of the Marist Fathers and received on 21 July 1958, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 9 January 1984 as Bishop of Rarotonga. He received his episcopal consecration of the Bishop of Auckland, Denis George Browne, on April 7 of the same year; Co-consecrators were John Hubert Macey Rodgers SM, Auxiliary Bishop of Auckland, and Petero Mataca, Archbishop of Suva.

On 8 November 1996, he was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Auckland.
