Robinson Peak

Robinson Peak is a 2040 m high mountain in the West Antarctic Heritage Range. It is located on the eastern side of Rennell glacier, about 7 nautical miles (13 km ) south of Mount Virginia.

Robinson peak was mapped by the United States Geological Survey as part of the compilation of Ellsworthgebirges in the years 1961-1966 through site surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy. Was named the Summit of Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names by Willard E. Robinson, who worked as a construction mechanic at the American Research Station Byrd Station in 1965.
