Rod Argent

Rod Argent ( born June 14, 1945 in St Albans as Rodney Terence Argent ) is a British musician, founding member of the music group The Zombies and Argent.

Life

Rod Argen grew up in St Albans / Hertfordshire. As a child he sang as a chorister at St. Albans Cathedral Choir. While at school he met Paul Atkinson and Hugh Grundy, along with Colin Blunstone and Chris White in 1961 they founded the music group The Zombies. In 1967, the group split up and Rod Argent founded together with Russ Ballard, Waltham Cross, James Rodford and Robert Henrit the band Argent.
