Rodney Martin

Rodney Martin ( * in Australia ) is a retired Australian squash player.

Career

Martin comes from a successful squash family. His brother Brett Martin was like Rodney a world-class player, his sister Michelle Martin won from 1993 to 1995 even three times the world championship in women's singles. He won the 1991 his only world title on home turf in Adelaide with a 3-1 victory over the squash legend Jahangir Khan. With the team he was in the same year and two years earlier win the world title. 2007 Martin was inducted into the Squash Australia Hall of Fame. In December 1994, Martin finished his career because of a persistent hip injury. Its highest ranking in the world ranking was third place in November 1992.
