Rolf Biland

Rolf Biland (born 1 April 1951) is a former Swiss motorcycle racer.

With seven world titles, he is the second most successful sidecar driver behind Steve Webster, the reach ten titles. In the list of most Grand Prix victories in the Sidecar World Championship Rolf Biland is obtained with 81 races of the most successful before Steve Webster with 62

Biland began his racing career in 1970 initially as a passenger. Two years later he switched to the driver's seat and appeared in 1974 with Freddy Freiburg Oberhausen in the sidecar with a tenth World Cup ranking for the first time in the motorcycle world championship. 1978 brought Biland with Kenny Williams in the BEO -Harnessing the first title. With Kurt Waltisperg as co-driver from the 1979 season he had this item in a period of one and a half decades, six more to follow.
