Rolf Krüsmann

Rolf Krüsmann ( born October 6, 1941 in Münster ( Westphalia ) ) is a former German athlete who - starting for the Federal Republic - at the European Championships 1966, the silver medal in the 4 x 400 - meter relay won ( 3:04, 8 min, Friedrich Roder field, Jens Ulbricht, Rolf Krüsmann, Manfred children). In the 400 -meter run this European Championships he finished fifth ( 46.7 s ).

Krüsmann was a member of the sports club VfL Bochum. In his playing days, he was 1.76 m tall and weighed 60 kg.

From 1990 to 1996, he served as national coach of the 400 -meter men. His greatest success as a coach was winning the bronze medal of his 4-by- 400 - meter relay ( Rico songs, Karsten Just, Olaf Hense, Thomas Schönlebe ) at the World Championships in Stuttgart in 1993, and previously served as exercise bike of 400-meter runner Hartmut Weber the European title in 1982.
