Rolfe Kent
Rolfe Kent ( born 1963 in St. Albans in England ) is a British film composer.
Kent has worked as a composer for film music since 1989 and has participated in more than 60 productions. Occasionally he is also active as a conductor.
Kent was nominated for the music for the film Legally Blonde (2001 ) for the Film Awards Golden Satellite Award. For the music for the film Sideways (2004) he was nominated for a Golden Globe award. Four times in his career, he was honored at the BMI Film & TV Awards for the best music. He also received the 2012 Richard Kirk Career Achievement Award.
In 2009 he won the Satellite Award for Jason Reitman's film Up in the Air Kent wrote in 2005 the music for Reitman's Thank You for Smoking.
Kent currently resides in Los Angeles.
