Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja
The Archdiocese of Abuja (Latin: Archidioecesis Abugensis ) is located in Nigeria Metropolitan diocese of the Roman Catholic Church.
History
Forerunner of today's Archdiocese of Abuja is the Mission Sui Iuris Abuja, founded in the Diocese of Minna on 6 November 1981. In 1989, Pope John Paul II the collection to the diocese of Abuja; on 26 March 1994, the survey of the archdiocese.
Assigned to the suffragan bishopric of Idah, Lafia Diocese, Diocese of Lokoja, Makurdi diocese and diocese Otukpo.
