Roman Catholic Diocese of Erexim

The diocese Erexim (Latin: Dioecesis Ereximensis ) is a location in Brazil Roman Catholic diocese based in Erexim in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

History

The diocese Erexim was on May 27, 1971 by Pope Paul VI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Cum Christ out of territory of the Diocese of Passo Fundo and the Archdiocese of Porto Alegre is a suffragan. On 13 April 2011 the diocese Erexim was placed under the Archbishopric of Passo Fundo, suffragan.
