Roman Catholic Diocese of Ji’an

The Diocese of Ji'an (Latin: Dioecesis Chinganensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Ji'an in the People's Republic of China.

History

Pope Leo XIII. founded the Apostolic Vicariate Südjiangxi on August 19, 1879 from annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate of Jiangxi. On 25 August 1920, adopted the name, Apostolic Vicariate Kingan at.

On 3 December 1924, took the name, Apostolic Vicariate Kianfu on. With the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos it was raised on April 11, 1946 Diocese.
