The Diocese of Kalisz (Latin: Dioecesis Calissiensis, poln: Diecezja Kaliska ) is located in Poland Roman Catholic diocese based in Kalisz ( Kalisch German ).

History

The Diocese of Kalisz was established on 25 March 1992 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Totus Tuus Poloniae populus of annexations of the dioceses Częstochowa, Opole and Wloclawek and the Archdioceses of Wroclaw, Gniezno and Poznań and the Archdiocese of Poznan, is a suffragan.

First bishop was Stanisław Napierała.
