Roman Catholic Diocese of Kolda

The Diocese of Kolda (Latin: Dioecesis Koldaensis ) is a location in Senegal Roman Catholic diocese based in Kolda. It includes the Kolda region.

History

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution nuper est petitum on 22 December 1999 for the cession of territory of the Diocese of Ziguinchor and it became the Archdiocese of Dakar assumed as suffragan.
