Roman Catholic Diocese of Menevia

Located in the UK Catholic Diocese Menevia (Latin: Dioecesis Menevensis ) was founded in 1895 as Apostolic Vicariate of Wales from areas of the Dioceses of Shrewsbury and Newport and Menevia and already collected on 12 May 1898 a separate diocese with the name Menevia.

The diocese Menevia subordinate to the Archdiocese of Cardiff as suffragan. On February 12, 1987, the Diocese of Wrexham was built from parts of the diocese territory.
