Roman Catholic Diocese of Nagoya
The Diocese of Nagoya (Latin: Dioecesis Nagoyaensis, Japaneseカトリック 名古屋 教区, katorikku Nagoya Kyoku ) is a location in Japan Roman Catholic diocese based in Nagoya.
History
The Diocese of Nagoya was born on February 18, 1922 by Pope Pius XI. In hac sublimi out of territory of the Archdiocese of Tokyo and Niigata Prefecture Apostolic built with the Apostolic Constitution as Apostolic Prefecture Nagoya. The Apostolic Prefecture Nagoya was posted on April 16, 1962 by Pope John XXIII. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Praefectura Apostolic to the diocese and the Archdiocese of Osaka is a suffragan.

The diocese consists of the prefectures Nagoya Aichi, Fukui, Gifu, Ishikawa and Toyama.
