The Diocese of Plasencia (Latin: Dioecesis Placentinus in Hispania ) is a location in Spain Roman Catholic diocese based in Plasencia.

History

The Diocese of Plasencia was in 1189 by Pope Clement III. built and the Archdiocese of Santiago de Compostela is a suffragan. 1851, the Diocese of Plasencia was the archbishopric of Toledo, is a suffragan. The Diocese of Plasencia was placed under the Archdiocese of Mérida - Badajoz suffragan on 28 July 1994.
