Roman Catholic Diocese of Saint-Dié

The French Diocese of Saint- Dié (Latin: Sancti Dioecesis Deodati ) was built in 1777. For this, the Abbey of Saint -Dié was disbanded and some areas of the diocese of Toul were separated and transferred to the new diocese. It belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Trier.
