Roman Catholic Territorial Prelature of Infanta

The Territorialprälatur Infanta (Latin: Territorialis Praelatura Infantensis ) is a Roman Catholic Territorialprälatur based in Infanta on the island of Luzon in the Philippines.

History

Pope Pius XII. founded with the Bull Precibus annuentes on 25 April 1950, the Territorialprälatur Infanta of cessions of territory of the Diocese of Lipa and imputed it to the Archdiocese of Manila, suffragan. It comprises the northern part of Quezon derProvinz.

On 31 January 1970, it lost part of its territory to the Diocese of Ilagan. It was posted on June 20, 1972 part of the ecclesiastical province of Lipa.
