Infanta (Quezon)

Infanta is a Philippine municipality in the province of Quezon, in the administrative region IV, Calabarzon. It has 64 818 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 36 barangays. It is classified as a church of the first income class in the Philippines.

Infanta is located across the road from Polillo, at the entrance of the bay of Lamon, the Polillo Archipelago. On the coast are smaller mangrove forests. Your neighboring communities are Real and General Nakar in the southwest to the northwest. The topography of the municipality is characterized by gently rolling hills and mountainous scenery in the foothills of the Sierra Madre. The city was founded in 1696 by Don Diego Mangilaya and is the seat of a Territorialprälatur the Roman Catholic Church.
