Romance Is Boring is the third studio album by the Welsh indie-pop band Los Campesinos!. It was recorded at various studios in the United States and Wales and produced by John Goodmanson. It was published in the U.S. and on February 1 in the UK on 26 January 2010. In Germany, Romance Is Boring appeared on January 29. The album includes guest appearances from Jamie Stewart of Xiu Xiu, Zac Pennington of Parenthetical Girls and Jherek Bischoff of the Dead Science. The album is loud frontman Gareth of "Death and football ". Album cover and artwork was done by the photographer Cari Ann Wayman.

Title list

All lyrics were written by Gareth (title four and eleven of Aleks and Gareth ). All songs composed by Tom and all violin pieces by Harriet and Tom.

Reception

The reviews of the album were mostly positive. In Metacritic Romance Is Boring has an average rating of 75, based on 28 reviews.

Josh model of spin magazine awarded 3.5 of 5 points and called Gareth Campesinos! as "one of the most moving and sarcastic lyrics writer in years." Lisa Wright ( NME ) Criticism was also 8 out of 10 points very positive: " What does Romance Is Boring especially an important step forward is its incredible structural connectedness which nevertheless everything they have previously published blows away, in terms of structural complexity, technical skill and general experimentation; Every track seems to take an item that has been previously alluded to, and it expands to a full form. "
