We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed is the second studio album by the Welsh indie-pop band Los Campesinos!. It was released in the UK on 27 October 2008 by Wichita Recordings. It appeared just 30 weeks after her debut album Hold on Now, Youngster ... and includes ten completely new tracks. There were no singles. The album was recorded in June 2008, within eleven days, with John Goodmanson in his studio in Seattle.
The title of the song to Erupting Between Earth and to Exploding Sky is an allusion to a line in the novel Time Quake by Kurt Vonnegut.
The song Miserabilia came on the 94th place of the best songs of the year 2008 at Rolling Stone.
The band called We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed not as their second full-length album, but as a mini - album or " EEP " (Extended EP).
The album includes a bonus DVD with a 26 minute video of the band on tour. In addition, two Ansteckbuttons and a mini- poster included.
