Rosenstiel Award

The Lewis S. Rosenstiel Award for Distinguished Work in Basic Medical Research is an endowment founded by Lewis Solon Rosenstiel science prize to promote the basic medical research. It is awarded annually by the Brandeis University.

Of the 86 winners have later 26 also a Nobel Prize in medicine and in eight of Chemistry received (end of 2013).

The Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences in Miami assigns a Rosenstiel Award for Marine Sciences.
