Rosko Gee

Rosko Gee (also Rosco ( e) Gee ) is a Jamaican musician (bass guitar, keyboards, vocals), who works in Germany.

Rosko Gee worked in the 1970s in the British rock group Traffic, on their albums When the Eagle Flies ( 1974) and The Last Great Traffic Jam ( published in 2005 ) he participated. He also played in 1976 in the fusion band Go ( Stomu Yamashta with Steve Winwood, Michael Shrieve, Klaus Schulze and Al Di Meola ). With the ex- Traffic percussionist Reebop Kwaku Baah he became a member of the German rock band Can, in which he temporarily Holger Czukay replaced and the Can- albums Saw Delight ( 1977), Out of Reach (1978) and Can ( 1979) participated. In 1977 he went on tour with Can and was also active as a vocalist of the band. In 1980 he was part of the first edition of the phantom band around Jaki Liebezeit and Helmut Zerlett; In 1983 he recorded an album with the fusion band Zahara on, in the Reebop Kwaku Baah, Paul Delph ( keyboards) and Bryson Graham ( drums) played. As of 1995, Gee played as a bass player in the live band led by Zerlett by Harald Schmidt's television shows, such as the Die Harald Schmidt Show.

Gee also played with Alex Oriental Experience, Dave Doran and Thomas Kessler; Furthermore, he had also been playing recordings of Julian Dawson ( The Flood ), Fredy Studer / Christy Doran (Half a Lifetime ), Mike Herting, Vivian Stanshall and Chris Youlden. His current project ( since 2011 ) is the band The Hooded Ones.
