Roustam Tariko

Rustam Vasilyevich Tariko (Russian Рустам Васильевич Тарико, scientific transliteration Rustam Vasil'evič Tariko; born August 30, 1961 in Menselinsk ), ethnic Tatar, is the founder of the largest Russian vodka producer Russian Standard.

Life

Rustam Tariko began his career in 1980 as a tour guide in Moscow. From 1990 Tariko worked as a consultant for Ferrero Rocher in Russia and then founded the Roust. Inc., with which he exclusively Italian Vermouth Martini & Rossi ( including Bacardi heard ) and other imported liquors.

In 1998, Tariko in Saint Petersburg the Russian Standard vodka manufacturers, which holds about 60 percent market share in Russia in 2006. In December 2006 he bought for sensational 2.2 million euros the domain www.vodka.com. In the Forbes list of the richest people in the world, he reached in 2009, the space 647 with a fortune of 1.1 billion U.S. dollars.

Rustam Tariko has two children.
