Ryūzō Saki

Ryuzo Saki (Japanese佐 木 隆 三, Ryuzo Saki, born April 14, 1937 in Kankyo - Hokudō, Chosen, Empire of Japan (now Hamgyŏng - pukto, North Korea) ) is a Japanese writer.

After Saki had 1956 completed the Yahata Chūō High School of Fukuoka Prefecture, he worked at Yahata Seitetsu (now Nippon Steel). He has written reviews and biographies, short stories and novels, some of which were filmed. In 1975 he was awarded for Fukushūsuru wa ware ni ari (1979 Shohei Imamura filmed by ) the Naoki Prize, 1991, he was awarded the Itō -Sei Prize for Literature for Shinbunchō.
