Rzhevskoye

Rschewskoje (Russian Ржевское, German nobleman Neuendorf ) is a place in the Russian Kaliningrad Oblast ( region Königsberg ( Prussia) ). He belongs to the Moscow raion of Oblasthauptstadt Kaliningrad (Königsberg ).

Geographical location

Rschewskoje is located in the extreme southeast of Moscow Rajon directly at the crossing point of the Russian highway A 196 ( former German Empire Road 131 ) to the trunk road R 516 ( former imperial highway Berlin- Konigsberg, colloquially " Berlinka ") in the bypass of Kaliningrad. Distance to the city center of Kaliningrad is six kilometers.

The nearest train station is Aivazovsky (Königsberg - Blessed field) on the railway line from Kaliningrad via Tschernjachowsk ( Insterburg ) and Gusev ( Gumbinnen ) to Lithuania ( former Prussian Eastern Railway ).

History

The former New village called Gutsort existed prior to 1945 from a large farm and smaller courts.
