Sabrina Malheiros

Sabrina Malheiros ( born April 4, 1979 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian singer.

Biography

She is a daughter of the famous bass player from Azymuth, Alex Malheiros. Her music career began at age 11 when she helped on the Azymuth album Curumim that came out in 1990. At 19, she sang for the band United Future Organization, a Japanese acid jazz group, and again in 1999 for Azymuth: Pieces of Ipanema.

In 1999, she starred in the film trilogy 'A terceira morte de Joaquim Bolívar ' Flávio Cândido with. In 2002 she participated in the project Superágua, which is operated by the Brazilian DJs Jonas & Ulisses Cappelletti. Sabrina Malheiros relies on typical Brazilian sound art, which is extended by a little electronic, R & B and hip-hop.

Equilibria (2005)

On her debut album she has seven sambas and six Bossas together.
