Saeed Al-Owairan

Sa ʿ id al - ʿ Uwairan (Arabic: سعيد العويران, DMG Sa ʿ al - ʿ īd Uwairān, according to the English transliteration often Saeed al - Owairan, even without Article Owairan; born 19 August 1967 ) is a former Saudi Arabian football player.

Al - Uwairan played for Al -Shabab, a club from the capital, Riyadh. He also played 50 times for Saudi Arabia, where he scored 24 goals. With the national team, he participated in the World Championships in 1994 and 1998.

He gained worldwide fame with his goal against Belgium in the 1994 World Cup, when he met four opposing players pitting after a solo about half the space.
