Saint-Barthélemy, Morbihan

Saint- Barthélemy ( Breton: Bartelame ) is a commune of 1,180 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Morbihan in the Brittany region. It belongs to the Local Government Association, Pays de Baud.

Geography

Saint -Barthélemy is located in the southern part of central Brittany and part of the Pays de Pontivy. The municipality is bounded on the west by the river Blavet.

Neighboring municipalities are Pluméliau in the north and northeast, Guénin the east and southeast, baud in the south, southwest and Melrand Quistinic in the northwest.

In a north-south direction, the D 768 leads east by the municipality, the connection from Auray to Pontivy.

Demographics

History
