Salah Abdel Maqsoud

Salah Abdel Maksud (Arabic صلاح عبد المقصود, DMG Salah ʿ Abd al - Maqsud, * 1958 ) held office since 2 August 2012 as the Information Minister of Egypt.

Maksud was born in 1958 and in 1980 a journalism degree from. Since 1979 he works as a journalist. During his career, he was editor in chief of Islamic various magazines.

Maksud is a member of the Cabinet of Hescham Kandil. He belongs to the Freedom and Justice Party and the Muslim Brotherhood.
