Salvador Casañas y Pagés

Salvador Cardinal Casañas i Pagès ( born September 5, 1834 in Barcelona, † October 27, 1908 ) was a Catholic cardinal.

In 1858 he was ordained a priest. From 1879 to 1901 he was Bishop of Urgell and therefore ex officio spiritual Kofürst of Andorra. Pope Leo XIII. took him in 1895 to the College of Cardinals. From 1901 he was Bishop of Barcelona.
