Sam Harrison (cyclist)

Samuel "Sam" James Harrison ( * 24 June 1992 in Risca ) is a Welsh racing cyclist.

Sports career

At the age of 13 years, Sam Harrison started cycling. 2008, at 16, he was " Olympic Development Program " was added to the British, after he had become in the same year British Youth Vice Champion in cross-country races. In 2010 he was, together with Dan McLay British Junior runner-up in a two - team driving as well as Junior Vice World Champion in the Omnium and in the team pursuit. In the UCI Track World Championships 2011 in Apeldoorn Harrison won with the British rail - four ( Ed Clancy, Peter Kennaugh and Andrew Tennant ) bronze. At the European Championships of junior, he finished with four second place at the national level, he was third in the elite in the 1000 -meter time trial. 2013 Sam Harrison was in Minsk Vice World Champion in the Team Pursuit, together with Steven Burke, Ed Clancy and Andrew Tennant.
