Sami Hafez Anan

Sami Hafez Enan (Arabic سامى حافظ عنان, DMG Sami Hafez Anan ʿ, born February 2, 1948 in Fayyum ) is an Egyptian military officer with the rank of lieutenant general. He was at that time ( in October 2011) Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Egypt. He was a member of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, which has ruled Egypt during the revolution in Egypt in 2011 until its replacement by the civilian government Mursi.

Life

From 24 to 30 January 2011, the week in which the revolution in Egypt began in 2011, Hafez Enan Sami was at a meeting at the Pentagon in the United States.

On October 1, 2011 Sami Hafez Enan agreed to an amendment to the electoral law on the parliamentary elections of 2011.
