Samson Kisekka

Samson Babi Mululu Kisekka ( born June 23, 1912 in Mengo, † October 25, 1999 in London) was a Ugandan politician and Prime Minister and Vice President of his country.

After studying at Makerere Medical School, the Doctor of medical professionals worked as a doctor. Later he became a foreign policy spokesman for the rebel group of Yoweri Museveni. As Museveni became president on 26 January 1986, he appointed Kisekka on 30 January 1986 as the successor of Abraham Waligo prime minister. This office he held until 22 January 1991. Succeeded in this office was George Cosmas Adyebo.

He was also Vice- President of Uganda since 1989. During this time he was also Minister of the Interior. In 1994 he resigned from this post and was replaced by Specioza Kazibwe in this office. However Kisseka remained until his death of his advisors political ally Yoweri Museveni. Some time was Kisekka also chairman of the " National Resistance Movement " (NAM ), the party Museveni.
