Sana'a Governorate

Sana'a (Arabic صنعاء, DMG Sana ʿ ā ʾ ) is one of the 20 governorates of Yemen. It is located in the center of the country.

Sanaa has an area of ​​15,052 km ² and about 1,042,468 inhabitants. This gives a population density of 69.3 inhabitants per km ².

The capital of the governorate, Sanaa, is the capital of Yemen.
