Sandy Neilson

Sandra "Sandy" Lynn Neilson ( born March 20, 1956 in Burbank ) is a former American swimmer.

At the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, she was three time Olympic gold medalist. She won the 100m freestyle and the 4 × 100 m freestyle and the 4 × 100 m medley relay of the United States. In 1986, she was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the international swimming sport.
